Advertising scholarship for African-American students

If you know any African-American high school or college students interested in advertising, tell them to check out Hyper IslandThe ReasonGoodby Silverstein & Partners will pay tuition for two African-American students to attend 40-to-45-week creative programs at the digital school. For those not familiar with Hyper Island, some in the ad world refer to the school as “Digital Harvard”. Click here to check out a Fast Company article about Hyper Island.

High school and college students can apply until June 6 for the scholarship to attend either the interactive art director or motion graphics program. Click here to applyThe fee for the program is about $18,000. Here’s the tough part — winners will be responsible for travel costs to Sweden, where the school is headquartered.
